Another Christmas has come and gone....where does the time go? I would sure like to know!! This year we went to Grand Junction to be with Russ' family. We had a great time being together, it was the first time that the whole family has really been together in a long time and it was so nice! We sure enjoyed every moment! Some of the highlights included:
*Another trip to Chuck E Cheese-Lindsey's favorite place, but the adults secretly had fun too!!
*A really fun girl's night out-we got to leave all of the kids at home, then my awesome mother-in-law Shalia treated all of her daughter-in-laws to dinner and a movie!
*Family pictures-we are REALLY hoping that they are better than last year, but that is not hard to beat. :)
*Lindsey asking grandpa if he and grandma are going to have another baby. Russ' dad has a bit of a belly and Lindsey not really knowing that girls can only have babies decided to ask grandpa. We got a BIG laugh out of that one!!
*Playing games together as a family-lots of good laughs. I haven't laughed like that in a long time!
*Playing Santa on Christmas Eve and setting up all of those wonderful toys....
*Date night with Trevor and Brittany
*Eating lots of yummy food!
*The little girls all dressing up together, this is the first time Taylor has played dress-up. So cute!!
Opening presents on Christmas morning (we didn't get a lot of pictures, I'm not good with action shots and that is how they would have been. The kid's aren't very good at holding still for a picture when there are more presents to be opened.)
Taylor decided that her new Ariel doll (in the tub) needed a bath, so she went upstairs and got in the tub all by herself...then decided to start watering the plant. Silly girl!!
Beautiful girls all ready for church. Grandma got them matching Christmas dresses and they looked so beautiful!

We did Christmas with my family the week before, we had a nice night and celebrated quickly before I had to go to work. The kids all got pillow pets from each other and they were so excited, as you can see with Lindsey's face. Lindsey got a horse one and it was just the start of the horse extravaganza with Christmas!!
And for whoever is still reading....can you tell that Lindsey's hair is a tad bit shorter in the Christmas pictures, we were forced to do a little trim? Well, there is a story behind that one. :) I really thought that Lindsey would never do this, why did I think this, not really sure. I went visiting teaching the morning that we were leaving and at the house I was at they have a tri-level and at the entry you can either go up or down and that is it. Lindsey was anxious to go to GJ and she was at the door, waiting not very patiently. I thought she had gone downstairs because I never heard the door open. Well, about 5 minutes later I was trying to leave and I couldn't find her. Then, there was a knock at the door and it was Lindsey. We go out to the car and I open the passenger front door and I look on the floor and there are locks of hair!! What!! It seriously took me a minute to think it all through. She has gotten into the emergency kit in my glovebox and used the scissors. Sure enough, she had little dog flap ears!! It really wasn't THAT bad, but she did take some from each side and it forced me to trim it up a little to try and even it out just a tad. That is our fun little story, not to mention we were about to get family pictures taken. Ohhhh children!!
