Cute Pictures...
I thought Lindsey looked so cute at church today, that I thought I should get some pictures when we got home from church. My mom said she looked like a ballerina in her little dress today with her long legs, I thought it was fitting. She is just too dang cute!!! We are having too much fun around here with her!!!
Big Swimming Adventure...
Friday, we went for a big adventure! My mom had the day off of work, so we were trying to decide on an activity to do. Well, we decided that since Lindsey was almost 4 months that we could probably take her swimming. Well, she had a big time!!! We went to the Broomfield Rec. Center-there is a shallow swimming area for little kids, a lazy river that doesn't require tubes-but will take you for a little ride, a slide-that we didn't dare try and a family spa. The pool was just a little chilly for Lindsey. She started shaking after awhile-which I didn't know that babies could shake!! Her cousins LOVE the water and they were splashing all around her, she didn't enjoy that so much either. She enjoyed being alone with Mom in the "family spa"!! The family spa is like bathtub temperature water, which was just perfect for skinny little Lindsey!! So here are some pictures from that fun hour long activity!!!
Just before the big swim.
I wasn't able to get any pictures during the swimming process. My arms were a little full, imagine that!! We are going to have to do this again before too long and maybe Russ can join in on the fun!!

Next the Little Lindsey...
This is a little post dated, but really our lives are not that exciting so my news is old news. Russ and I were blessed with our beautiful little girl on April 2nd at 4:00pm. She weighed in at 7lbs. 9oz. and 20 1/2 inches long. Everything went really well for the labor and delivery. The past three and a half months have just flown right by. She is getting so big (well, long...) everyday. I can't wait until her next appointment to see just how long she has gotten. She is still pretty skinny, but I guess that's okay. She is now smiling like crazy and just beginning to laugh a little. She has just started grabbing her toes and grabbing the toys on her floor mat. It is really fun to see all of the little changes. Many of our days are spent with my sister, Katie and her twins Nick and Alli. The twins are 4 1/2 months older than Lindsey. We are having lots of fun!!

This was our big trip to the Denver Zoo during the first week of June. We had a great time and believe it or not so did the twins. Lindsey really could have cared less. She slept the whole time.

Somehow our first pictures of Lindsey from the hospital and home got erased from the computer, don't worry I have hard copies of most of them and they did get sent to snapfish. That was a sad day when I realized this. So this is what we have on the computer of her. She was about 2 weeks old in the picture on the left and then she was about a month old on her blessing day.

These are more recent pictures of Lindsey...she can't smile without putting her tongue out.

A little Update....First the house...
Russ and I bought our first house at the end of February and then got busy right away working on it, so that it would be ready to move into prior to Lindsey being born. You see, this house we bought was foreclosure and it needed some work. Everyday after work and every Saturday we were at the house working on it. We painted the whole house, put new carpet and new wood floors in, along with a thousand other little things that we did. Finally, after much help from the family, we moved into our new house 3 days before the little one was born. The house is still a work in progress-now we need to focus on the outside. We just cut down the big tree in our front yard. Now we just need to completely redo both the front and back yards and paint the house!! Oh to be a homeowner...

Getting Started....
I finally decided to start our family blog. This is a big step for me and I never thought that I would ever set one up, but after reading all of our friends blogs, I decided that I should do one too. At first I got frusturated and didn't touch it for 2 weeks and I've now decided to try tackling it again, so here I go....
