Well life at the Moses house has been nothing but a little busy lately!! I am just going to start off with youngest to oldest to give a little update on everyone's happenings!
**Warning: Long post!!
Taylor
Let's see Taylor is 3 1/2 months old right now and just seems to be getting bigger everyday! She is starting to roll from her tummy to her back. She has the biggest and best smile ever! I LOVE it! She is laughing and starting to talk...she can get going and be pretty loud at times! We have started using the Bumbo, but it's not her favorite thing yet. We will have to work on that. This week is the week, that I am going to transition her to her own crib and get her out of our room. But, it is just so convenient to have her right next to me. Especially, because she has been taking some steps backward and waking up several times a night. I don't like it very much!
Lindsey
The biggest thing with Lindsey right now, is that we are in the midst of potty training. I tried several weeks ago, but it was a huge power struggle and she would refuse to even get on the potty. So, we put it all away and then magically when her cousin Alli started getting potty trained and was wearing panties, Lindsey wanted to start again! Amazing how that works. She has been doing really well with "peeing in the potty," but it is the #2 that we are really going to struggle with. Lindsey has also started a toddler preschool and is loving that so much already. She loves to tickle and kiss her sister. She also loves to pretend to go to work or the store and get kisses from Mom and Dad before she leaves. Lindsey is playing so well with herself right now and I LOVE it!
Russ
Russ is probably the most busy out of all of us! He started his Master's in Business program through CU Denver a couple weeks ago. He is also finishing our basement (Russ' little brother Ethan is living with us right now and so it was motivation to get it done). He had his brother Trevor and Dad come to help a few weekends ago and they were able to get a majority of the framing done! Thanks to all of the men who have helped-including my Dad! He is also watching the girls on Thursday nights and Friday mornings-which I will explain in a moment under my post. He is doing really well and balancing all of his many tasks-oh we can't forget his calling and the time he puts into that. What a busy guy! I appreciate so much all that he does for us!!
Me
I started back at work about a month ago. I am only working one night a week and it is soooo wonderful! I am working every Thursday night and it is great getting out of the house and having some adult conversation. However, I do not especially enjoy staying up all night. It really is not a lot of fun. I am also staying busy doing all of the regular Mom stuff and keeping Lindsey entertained while Russ is in the basement working. So much fun!
Other Things....
The Berry Patch Farm: a friend in the ward has set-up some fall field trips and this was one of them. It was so much fun! I think it will be even better next year when Lindsey is a little older. Lindsey was able to pick her own raspberries and strawberries-she didn't quite understand this concept and was better at just eating them when she actually did pick them. They also have a pig that kids can pet and chickens running around everywhere. This was a really cool place! Thanks Val!

We went to Grand Junction a few weeks ago to get family pictures taken with Russ' family. While we were there Lindsey discovered that she could write on herself and Taylor. It came right off thank goodness! We had a great time seeing lots of family and friends

life for you seems busy, busy. same here. i always think it is going to slow down but it never does. i totally understand about potty training. my little dude just doesn't ever go poo when he is awake so it makes training him on that end hard. he has got the pee training down. if you figure out any good ideas to help with the poo training i'm all ears.
I love the update! So cute!
can't wait to see you guys (minus lindsey) next week!
Love the update. We need to meet in the middle somewhere and see eachother. Fun talking with you the other day! Cute cute girls!
